Minecraft Diaries Day 3
Overnight I did not notice any monsters around my area so I decided to cut down the trees near where I was, this gave me plenty of wood, and I decided to invest in creating a sword out of it, spotting some monsters on the mountains, I ran up to unleash my new blade on them, when the sun came up and caused them to ignite. I quickly put my sword to use however, slashing at one of the green monsters, causing one to explode, but killing another and retrieving gunpowder from its corpse, I then explored the mountains, decided on the one I wanted to use for my base, I made marks in the sides and started mining it into a 10 meter by 10 meter square, I took a quick break to smelt some iron and use that and a flint in order to light the beacon. The beacon now blazing merrily away, I quickly got back to work on cutting the mountain into shape. As night fell I was on the beach, looking up at my completed beacon
Minecraft Diaries Day 2
Waking up this morning and climbing out of the hole, I was mauled by a large spider, I quickly dug a tunnel out through the side of the hole and attempted to beat the spider off the edge of the cliff with the planks I was carrying, alas, fate was not on my side and a whole brood of spiders awaited my, I turned and ran into a tall mottled green creature, initially it stood there staring at me with empty eyes, but before long is made a hissing noise and exploded, while I was making my way up the hill to check on the beacon and see what I could recover, I spotted another of these creatures, I picked an arrow off the ground and attempted to defeat it, this only lead to it exploding in my face, crippling me. Thankfully a pig was caught in the blast so I was able to eat some of its meat to help me recover. Once I got to the beacon I noticed that many of the spiders had been killed by the initial blast, and a lot of dirt had been revealed that I may use for building, I was collecting these resources, when i was set upon by a spider, I was unable to defend myself and died for the second time. I discovered that I had inadvertently placed the beacon near a cave, seeing that the spiders had retreated into said cave to escape the sun, I blocked off the entrance with some dirt, and set about repairing the beacon. I was additionally able to recover almost all my supplies, save a stone pickax which I presume fell down a nearby cliff. At around midday I made a dirt balcony around the beacon which i will use to light it when the time comes. As night fell I was making a bridge from one mountain to another in order to scout it out and see how I can make a more permanent shelter. Remembering my misadventure previously I spent the night in a tree top outside of the mountains.
Minecraft Diaries Day 1
So, I have started the game "Minecraft", and to make it more interesting I decided to post my experiences in it as a story, so here goes.
Day 1: I awoke on a beach facing inward to a mountain vista, not wanting to waste any time before nightfall I moved inland to the nearest hill to get a vantage point on the scenery, I knew I would need shelter before nightfall in order to avoid the beasts that roam this land.
Upon reaching the summit I saw a magnificent bowl-like area surrounded by mountains with caves cut deep into them, I knew this would be where I make my base.
In order to find my base again at a later occasion, I set to work constructing a massive beacon fire, I had completed the structure and was gathering ore to eventually refine and use with a piece of flint in order to light the pyre, when night fell, I quickly ran to the beacon and dug a hole under it, the beacon should serve as a physical barrier whilst allowing me to see the sky to monitor the time, but if I do not live through the night, It will instead serve as a grave marker.
